Through
our commitment and focus on being proactive when it comes
to our health, the “Let’s Walk” program
was born.
The
Quincy Medical Group, The Herald Whig, and the Cheryl Loatsch
Studio have teamed up and made a five-year commitment to
improve the health of the Quincy community. The focus is
on individual well being: physically, mentally and spiritually.
The most universal and unique form of exercise has been chosen to be
at the core of the program. WALKING! It is believed to be the best form
of exercise. Walking is universal because most of us can do it safely,
without injury, inexpensively, and at any time or place. Walking is unique
in its ability to connect all the dots of individual well being.
PHYSICALLY: You
may choose to walk on a particular day because of your
concern about weight.
MENTALLY: Another
day may find you hitting the pavement to throw off the
stresses and concerns of the day.
SPIRITUALLY: The
best way to enjoy the natural beauty created for us and
to take the time to reflect on our blessings and spiritual
needs. These are what make walking a perfect choice.

A
special “Kids Let’s Move ” program is
an extension of the adult program. It was designed to
encourage the Quincy area students to‘GET MOVING’.
A member of the “Team” would
be glad to discuss with your group the details of the program.
